Privacy notice

Your transcripts stay in your browser. This page explains our first-party event counts and Google Analytics and Pageview website analytics.

Effective: November 3, 2026. This notice describes the current website at aidubbingchecker.com.

Transcripts and reports

The checker reads files and pasted text locally in your browser. It does not upload transcript text, file names, generated findings, or report contents to our servers. Downloads are generated on your device. We do not provide cloud report history.

First-party aggregate usage counts

We count six fixed events: page view, sample loaded, check started, check completed, check failed, and report exported. Each request contains only the event name. Our database stores a UTC day, an event name, and a count. We do not store a visitor ID, IP address, user agent, referrer, transcript, language choice, finding count, or error message in the analytics database. These are event totals, not unique-visitor counts.

The first-party analytics feature uses no tracking cookies. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and you can disable our first-party event counting and Google Analytics below. The choice is saved in your browser's local storage; it does not identify you to our server. The hosting provider still receives the network information necessary to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PZNYXYEZ31) to understand page visits, traffic sources, and engagement. Google receives page information, a query-free referring URL, browser and device information, and the network information needed to process requests. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We remove query strings and URL fragments from the page and referrer values we configure. We do not send transcript text, file names, findings, reports, feedback, or email addresses to Google Analytics.

Automatic enhanced measurement, including form interaction tracking, is disabled. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag. Google Analytics loads only on aidubbingchecker.com, respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, and is disabled when you turn off usage analytics above. That choice also stops further Google Analytics collection on the current page. Previously stored cookies can be removed through your browser settings. Google controls processing and retention of its analytics data; see Google's Privacy Policy.

Pageview website analytics

We also use the Pageview analytics script served from app.pageview.app, configured for aidubbingchecker.com. It sends page-view events including the page URL, site domain, and referring page to that provider. The provider also receives the network information necessary to handle those requests. We do not pass transcript text, file names, findings, reports, or feedback form contents as custom analytics properties.

The control above applies to our first-party event counts and Google Analytics; Pageview is managed separately. To prevent Pageview collection, you can block requests to app.pageview.app using your browser's tracking protection or content blocker. The current Pageview script also honors a localStorage setting named plausible_ignore with the value true. Its data handling and retention are managed separately by that provider.

Feedback you choose to send

The contact form sends the topic, message, and optional reply email that you enter. We store it privately in Cloudflare D1 to review requests and respond where appropriate. Feedback is separate from analytics and is not public. Please do not submit passwords, private transcripts, sensitive personal information, or material you do not have permission to share. Save the reference number if you may need to ask us about a submission.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Cloudflare delivers this website, processes network requests, and hosts our database. A rate limiter uses the connecting IP address transiently to limit API submissions; we do not copy it into our application database. Provider processing is described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. We do not run advertising pixels. Google Analytics and Pageview are the third-party analytics integrations described above.

Retention and access

A daily cleanup removes feedback older than 90 days and daily usage counts older than 395 days from the active application database. Provider backups may have their own retention. Only authorized project administrators can retrieve feedback or statistics through the Cloudflare account; there is no public endpoint for reading submissions. We do not sell feedback or analytics data.

Use the contact form with the Privacy topic for access, correction, or deletion requests. Include the submission reference if available and an email if you want a reply. We may need enough information to verify that a request relates to your submission. We will update this notice when our processing changes.
